"Central, cheap, friendly, BUT, couldn’t control room temperature, would have liked cooler. Having said that, would definitely use again. "

"Everything good except that the housekeeping still went in our even though we hang the sign not to clean the room. And im fine them cleaning the room and changed fhe sheets, its just that they throw out our food and we ended up not having dinner but when i inform the staff they are very nice to give us chicken burgers. But they left the garbage on the night stand. But other wise its good"

"Such a lovely stay in this beautiful guest hotel! It had such a lovely home feeling. Very budget friendly and walkable distance to the city. If I were to make any suggestion I would say it would have been helpful to have a mini refrigerator with a microwave for meals. "

"Staff were very helpful with our needs especially Rijaq who helped providing the fire alarm system for us as we are deaf in case of fire at night. Room was a tad small but it is well maintained and clean. Breakfast is good. Choices of cereal, fruit and cooked breakfast. If we come back to Edinburgh again probably for the Military Tattoo, we will go back there, if the price is right, of course. "

"Can’t beat the location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant on floor 1 was nice and had a great vibe. Room was small and was given a queen bed instead of a king, but the view of the city and Calton Hill made up for it. "

"The hotel room was a bit spartan, but the bed was comfortable enough, it was clean, and the basics all covered. The location is amazing though. Right by Waverley Station, perfect for buses to the airport, taxi rank very close. I can easily see myself staying there again. The only issue was the bedroom was overly hot and the window wouldn’t open sufficiently to ventilate it as much as I’d have liked. The price was very good as well."
