"I was happy with my choice to stay here. I was upgraded to a double bed and it was pleasantly surprising that the room was very quiet it was good value for money with lovely staff. The downstairs area was a bit yucky but I was surprised at how dirty Sydney has become around Town Hall. "

"I booked not expecting luxury but basic. The hotel ticked all of the essential boxes. Location is superb for visiting Sydney Harbour on a budget. My room was small but well appointed. It was at the front of the hotel so I didn't suffer any traffice noise. Staff were pleasant and helpful."

"Very good budget accommodation. Excellent location close to transport, shops and park. It is on a busy road, so you do hear traffic noise. The building is dated, however the rooms are comfortable, showers are good and the breakfast box is convenient. I would return and recommend to others."

"The Blue has very limited services. Checked in via a code. I only saw someone at the desk twice in 5 days, basically no staff at all. The lift is extremely slow. They only offer weekly housekeeping. You get your towels and toiletries from numbered lockers in each floor. The internet is not fast, but usable. The main benefit of the hotel is the location: it's fantastic, 5 minutes away from Bondi Beach and you have restaurants and shops everywhere. If we wanted to come to the area again and...
