"Staff and room was perfect. The meal was overly expensive for what it was. The area arund the hotel is picturesque and the manor house looks beautiful. The meal i would compare to a up beat weatherspoons not worth the fortune it costs. I have stayed in another smae brand hotel in Sheffield and the food is much better quality. I have to say though the restaurant staff are 5 star"

"The hotel is a little dated but is clean and comfortable. Having an indoor swimming pool is a real plus for days when the weather rules out a dip in the sea. Room service came every day. Overall excellent value for money and would stay here again when visiting Bournemouth "

"Great budget hotel for before/after a cruise out of Southampton. My room in the main building was comfortable with a modern bathroom, everything was clean and the staff were all friendly. Easy to get to on the public bus routes."

"The Ibis Budget does what it says on the tin - it's basic, doesn't have much in the way of facilities, but is a good bolt hole for a night enroute, which is I guess what most people use it for. It's convenient for us, a short walk from family we visit. Parking is a bit limited, but is available not away if the hotel's own spaces are full. Bus and rail links are easy. There are plenty of food outlets nearby, and the cafe at Tesco does a good breakfast, if the basic one available at the hotel...

"My daughter (8) & i often go book a hotel stay to escape, and this is by far the top of our list now. Ive dropped a star for comfort only because the twin beds are too hard for me. Many prefer a hard bed so thats personal preferences really. The pool is beautiful and very clean along with the hottub the views of the garen are stunning. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Having a little chat with my daughter when ever she wanted to chat. They seemed to have time for us."
