"Wonderful two night stay. Like others I noted some of the mixed reviews but our stay was excellent. This is a 3* hotel and easily hits the mark, yes a few areas with wear ‘n tear but room and bathroom was clean, restaurant was really nice serving good food and a wide choice. Staff were all excellent; we’d definitely stay again if in the area!!"

The first was all rooms were on the second floor only accessible by a steep stair case. The second concern was in our bathroom shower. The faucet was in very poor repair. "Location is what you expect being so close to the airport and right on the edge of town. If you need somewhere to stay the night before your flight it’s perfect! Our room was spacious, and we had tea & coffee making available. On the first night it was warm, but the second night it was cold and the heating didn’t come on in the morning even. We stayed to visit family who live in Ponteland, so without a car it was a challenge. Overall, I felt it was expensive for room only (as advertised)...
