"In overall terms my stay at the Nefertiti Hotel was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. On-site trip organiser and restaurant was an extra bonus. Great view of the Theban Hills from the roof-top. Cons: room was on fourth floor and no lift! Not ideal when you are nearly 70! Room was located next to the restaurant, so very noisy early morning and late nights. Facilities were basic but perfectly adequate."

Close to all the sights on that side of the river but also close to the boats that can take you to the east side with all the other temples.
