"Great Ambiance- even though our room (“Biba”) 3rd floor window at knee height. Property not good for someone who cannot climb stairs. Food and service excellent! Would stay there again- great location relative to all to see in Barga and driving Tuscan countryside. Nice comfortable pool with nice chaises. Good value as excellent breakfast included. We couldnt find much info on hotel on internet but it turned out to be a real gem"

"Beautiful location next to river and parkland, close to town and access to spa day centre. Hotel is clean, a bit dated, and service is generally good. Problem only on check out which set us back half an hour - staff could not overcome a computer set back which may be evident that a general upgrade to hotel facilities and staff training may be required"

"The check-in was very easy for us. Our Italian is limited but they spoke English quite well. They were very nice people. "Short bus ride from Ferrari museum which was part of the reason for our stay. However just be aware the hotel is quite a long way from town - about 30 minutes by bus - and a second bus to the train station from there. Also the buses finish before 8pm so late arrivals by train don't work so well. It is about 30 euros by taxi from town. So works best if you have a car. However the hotel is very comfortable and friendly, nice breakfast room too. "
