"The town of Guiglia is great for anyone wants to explore Emilia Romagna by car but avoid actually staying in the larger towns of Modena or Bologna. We had a variety of experiences in Castelvetro, Modena, and other surrounding towns, and all were fairly easy to access from Guiglia. The property itself is lovely, and the kitchen was well-stocked if you want to cook a few meals at home. "Paolo’s property was perfect for me and my family. It is clean, spacious and very well presented. It is a perfect location for exploring the Garfagnana region and close to plenty of local amenities. "We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Collemandina. The property was in excellent condition and Leonardo was very helpful with the check in process and also when we didn't have any hot water. The location is very picturesque and quiet. The only downside is that it is a little isolated. There is a restaurant near the property but it is probably a 20 minute walk up steep roads. We were very reliant on using the car to get everywhere when ideally there would be some amenities a little bit closer."
