"The hotel is connected to the Tokushima Station and the Clement Plaza (small shopping center) so it is very convenient. I chose a bigger room and it was really nice, especially the bathroom with a tub that has a city view window (very nice at night).The bus stops are also right outside the main entrance and there are many dining options around the area."

"I saw many Japanese business people there, it is walkable to the Takushima Station, by taxi is under 1000 yen. I asked front desk staff about where is the nearest bus stop to get on buses to the Tokushima Station, but both the 2 staff on duty couldn’t give me a clear idea. Later I found out the bus stop is just 200 meters away: walk out from hotel main entrance, turn left walking to the cross road and turn left again. Only 250 yen to the Tokushima Station. "

"そこそこの年数は経ってる気はしたが温泉はヌルヌルしてとても良かったです。道の駅が併設してあるもののコンビニまで少し距離があるので夜中に腹が減った時はキツイ。バス停が道の駅の前にあるので大阪の難波から高速バス一本で来れる上に噂の鉄路を走るバスも来るので交通の便はとても良いと感じました。"

"This hotel is dated and has definitely seen better days. I had a non-smoking room that reeked of smoke :(. However, it was low cost and everything worked. The guy in reception was welcoming and friendly- made a particular effort to explain things, show me the free drinks in reception and hand me a tourist map. Location is walkable from centre (flat walk), but slightly further than ideal. Many dining options easily reached, but don’t expect much English spoken (have a translation app handy)."

"We stayed at Tsubaki House en route to Kamikatsu. It was a nice change from hotel rooms. An entire house with nice water view exactly as per the photos. The property is very private and accessed by a narrow road. Staff that handled check in and check out super friendly and proactive. They were very helpful. Take some food for BBQ. There are some places to eat in driving distance. Great place to stay for a family or small group."

"This was the most perfect stop on our trip from Kochi City to Tokushima City. A clean, spacious and comfortable room with all the amenities we needed. The highlight was the private bay, where my son and I kicked the soccer ball around and waded in the water. The freshly prepared breakfast was excellent, particularly the homemade An Pan. We wished we could have stayed another night to explore the local area more. We hope to visit again one day, it was lovely to be in nature after travelling the...
