"I've stayed here multiple times now. It's an older hotel, but it's clean, the staff is super friendly, and the views of the Scott memorial, the gardens and Old Town are amazing. And it's just a short walk to anything you'd want to see. Next time in Edinburgh, I'll be staying here again."

"Very handy to tram stop for airport literally in front of hotel. Very centralised to Edinburgh new and old town. St James quarter just across the road. Couldn't have been better. Great selection for Breakfast. Rooms comfortable and clean. And coffee and tea ln the reception bar area, when ever you fancied one included in the price of your stay. On the hole very enjoyable few days in Edinburgh thank you 😊 very much guys. "

"Great customer service on check in and very speedy. Good sized room, good amenities/features (i.e usb sockets, decent hairdryer). Good size bathroom and great feature that the door doubles as a door for the toilet and bathroom as a whole. Bathroom could have been cleaner, some hairs left around the sink. Breakfast on the first day was great, plenty of food, cups, plates etc, however day 2 was a different story. Almost all the food items were empty and not replenished very quickly. The table...

"Great hotel for an overnight sray"

"Perfectly located on a block from the Royal Mile. Loved being able to walk to food, shops, and attractions. The hotel itself was great! Loved the Scotland plaid decor with a little flair. Fun lobby! Enjoyed several drinks at the hotel bar that’s open late. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Nothing negative to stay. Don’t question booking here! We stayed 4 nights and it was great! "

"Very nice rooms with large comfortable beds and the location is great, right downtown near the castle, super easy to walk around in a nice neighborhood. The staff was also super helpful anytime I had questions, 10/10 would stay here again if I went back to Edinburgh."

"Welcoming staff, efficient checkin. Room was nice if a little lacklustre- the plain white textured walls felt a bit dreary. No mugs only paper cups which was a shame. I had a double which was actually two twins next to each other and i did sink into the middle dip a bit but generally a comfy bed. Double window system blocked out noise very well even though on a busy street opposite train station."
