"The hotel was in the heart of the old historical district of Porto. We could walk to the historical sites. It was an easy 15 minute walk down hill to the Douro River but challenging to walk back uphill."

"This hotel is an absolute gem. Miguel is wonderful- so knowledgeable and gave us excellent local recommendations as well as a glass of port on entry! Room was fantastic- beautifully presented. "The property is very clean and very close to the major attractions. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I needed help with direction and learning the city metro system, they did their best to help me. The breakfast was good, plenty and very convenient in the morning to have it in the property. All the front desk people speak English! "
