"Staff was very friendly and helpful. 5 stars to them!! The mirror in the bathroom had not been cleaned. Upon arrival to the room, the Kleenex box was empty. Great breakfast, but there were many guests and it seemed like only one woman taking care of food refills and keeping the area clean. She was hopping, and did it well! Overall, it was a good stay, and I would recommend to others."

"Beautiful, historic hotel. Definitely a step back in time. If you like the modern vibe and associated amenities, this is not your place. We loved the step back in time. Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We had a terrific time and will definitely stay here again. "

"On out way to Saratoga we got a call asking if we would change locations from this one, Brunswick B&B, to Union Gable which was just down the block. The person speaking to us said it was an upgrade but the room seemed the same. Anyway the Gable was lovely and charming. The couple who worked the morning were helpful and friendly. My husband and I were a bit disappointed in the person who welcomed us. There are no 24/7 staff on hand and he told us to text him if we needed anything. At...

"Mostly great place to stay. The pullout couch/mattress was terrible. Thin, beat, uncomfortable. Room was very clean. Great water pressure. Regular bed was very good with nice pillows. Hotel itself looked very clean. Nice grounds. Good walking trail nearby. Decent kitchenette. Biggest complaint was the chlorine smell from the pool in the whole downstairs. If that wasn’t so powerful, I’d probably give 5stars. "

"We stayed Christmas Eve into Christmas day. The Mansion is lovely and well kept. It was very quiet and secure. The room was beautiful. Loved the fireplace. Chad was extremely helpful over the phone and made us a delicious Christmas morning breakfast. Matt welcomed us and brought us to our room. Both Chad and Matt were very friendly and helpful. Had a great dinner in town on Christmas Eve. Would like to make this an annual tradition!"
