"I arrived in Montrose early evening by train, and got a taxi to this hotel. What a charming and a cosy place to stay in along with great tasting food. The hotel staff working here are quite friendly to chat to… and they also give out good info on the surrounding area as well,…"

"Great dog friendly hotel. Very comfortable and food was excellent. Large portions, very reasonable priced. Staff very friendly and efficient. Had never taken our 8 year old dog to a hotel before and wasn’t sure how well he would cope but the hotel is very heated up for dogs and our stay was very relaxed. "
