Our stay at The Clarendon was truly a highlight of our 6 week UK self-drive holiday. If we return back through Dundee we will absolutely be hoping a room is available. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to one or more nights.

Main issue was that we hadn’t realised we could not get breakfast at the hotel. And nowhere nearby for us to have breakfast as we were catching early train
Lovely property with unique styling nice big rooms and high ceilings. Great location with easy parking.
For international travellers make sure you have access to wifi or roaming as you’ll need codes to check-in they will be sent closer to arrival date. Definitely would stay again!
This is a beautiful, old renovated property that has been tastefully converted to a boutique hotel.
Checking in and out is all done electronically so don’t expect to have a receptionist but the owners are very nice when you bump into them. I really enjoyed my stay and would certainly come again
Great welcome from the owner, very informative and welcoming. The room was spotless and lots of attention to detail, great coffee and tea facilities. Walking distance to main road where restaurants are and parked in front of hotel. Great value for money would definitely recommend this hotel.
We were there one night, spoke very briefly to owner and very briefly to the woman cleaning the rooms the next day. Both lovely, everything very straightforward. Room was great, decor and attention to detail in the whole place was lovely. A shared obsession with lions was fine by me. Would definitely stay there again.
What a great find, host was very accommodating.Able to get in the rooms early as we were going to a festival. Recommended a local Italian restaurant that was outstanding. Rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean, will definitely stay again.
The room we stayed in was the Lionel. It had a king bed and a view of the river. The room was very large and well equipped with a kitchenette. It was an easy walk to downtown for dinner and breakfast. The host was friendly and accommodating . We were very pleased with our stay .
