"A great pub stopover. Stayed here for one night whilst working in the area. Nothing at all to complain about. Staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome. Food was good, Both evening meal and breakfast. At the time of my visit the accommodation was being redecorated which gave the place a more modern feel. "Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"Amazing cliff top sea views gorgeous empty beach. Quirky accommodation with all you need for a short stay. Host was a very friendly and helpful guy. We went by train but a car would be beneficial as although not far from the village it's a little remote with unlit dirt tracks probably ok in summer but not recommended coming home from the village pub in the dark. The beach was down a step path but was amazing vast and empty. Wouldn't recommend if you have mobility problems the space in the...
