"Cleanliness of room was good to begin with but unfortunately the daily cleaning of the room wasn’t up to standard. No toilet brush was provided - not normally an issue if the bathroom is cleaned every day. It wasn’t. This did not impact us this time but may impact others. Hotel is out of Salisbury town centre, but there are bus stops very close to the hotel . Buses are frequent and very reasonable. This makes the hotel accessible to town. Would I use the hotel again? - Yes "

"We chose this place because it was close to the City of Bath - but not in the City, and its on the River. It's a beautiful spot, the Old Mill waterwheel still runs, it's super peaceful. There is a restaurant, the food and service were great - even though the Chef only started a week ago. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Highly recommend the Old Mill Hotel in Bath."

"I was disappointed that the hotel charged for parking your car in their car park. For me no hotel should charge their guests a fee for parking. Also when I got a drink of coke from the bar it was served from a plastic coke bottle. The drink was flat. Although the rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean I found the hotel to be soulless and very matter of fact. "

"Staff very busy when i arrived so had quite a waut befire i could check in. Staff shortage? Room was comfortable, eveni g meal in the restaurant (fish&chips) was very good and reasonably priced. Buffet breakfast worked well but under the table on sunday morning was a right mess, not been cleaned from the night before? Another sign of staff shortages? This is an old proprty, so perfection in decir etc is not going to hapoen."

"This is a lovely historic property with a top-notch chef/kitchen. Food was probably the best feature. Beautiful interior spaces. Comfortable room except for the noise outside—our room was right next to the road, snd because of how old the building is there’s no sound mitigation. So it felt like the passing vehicles and people on the street were right in our room! I would stay here again if I could get a room in another location not right next to the street."
