"I'm not sure why this hotel is rated so highly. I would call it just so-so. The rooms are in bad need of updating, and it took forever for the heater to warm the room. Perhaps it's the best thing in San Fernando? I was hoping that since the property had a conference center the staff would speak English, however that was not the case. "My husband and I were passing through this town on our way South & found this place to stay. We were so pleasantly surprised how lovely it was. Everything was perfectly clean and the bed was very comfortable. We also liked that our car could be parked right outside and gated = extra secure. We do not speak much Spanish but the hosts were very sweet and tried their best to communicate/understand us!
