"We loved our stay here! The hotel and grounds areas are so peaceful and relaxing. We especially loved the restaurant area; I would have sat iout there all day with a book if we'd have had more time. The staff arranged for a guide, Julio Cesar, for the 7 Waterfalls Hike. He was so knowledgeable and fun and patient. He even took us to see his coffee and cacao farm before we left. I think we got the best guide! Mariana, from the hotel, came with us and took pictures and translated, an added bonus....

"We arrived during a tropical storm so the weather conditions were not ideal, however the hotel staff made it as pleasant and comfortable as they could and it showed! "

Rooms had a funny smell, but I think it’s due to the humidity, it’s bearable. I didn’t have hot water one of the mornings which I think my soul left my body, but I managed and survived, lol! "Our room has a balcony overlooking the town and mountain. The sunrise is spectacular. Room itself is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The property is charming but still a bit rustic, more like a small bed and breakfast. Not luxurious by any mean but full of character. The property is located a bit further from the center of town. The walk there is short and safe but there is small slope involved. Parking outside the hotel is easy. "

"This spacious one room apartment with bathroom is great for someone who does not want to stay in a traditional hotel/motel setting. It is quiet, clean, independent, safe with 24/7 armed security guards, controlled access. Easy access to roads was awesome. It has a park walking distance. Check-in and check-out was painless and quick. Communications with the owner via WhatsApp was consistent and pleasant. Services were offered. Privacy was great. Room had smart TV, wifi, AC, shower had water...
