"As previous reviews have stated, the Hotel is tired and in need of an update. The staff were friendly and the room cleaned with fresh towels daily. The location for the beach perfect. The food in the restaurant was very good however there was no atmosphere and not many customers probably due to the attitude of the waiting staff. We would stay here again. "

"The staff were amazing. Gregory fixed my problems and allowed me to enjoy my vacation. The woman at the front desk, w/glasses, is just the kindess person i have met in a long time. Janelle in the elevator, put a smile on my face. The person who cleaned my room daily, thank you. My bartenders, you guus are the best. Tyrell, i got u when i get back. "The hotel is a joy, a place of rest & relaxation. It has a certain low key atmosphere and vibes that makes it unique on the island, in my opinion. This was our third stay, at DBH & it won’t be the last. I should add too, that DBH is in a perfect location, steps to Dover Market, and St Lawrence Gap for restaurants & entertainment. Also it is a short walk up to the main road for buses. And Oistins with its Fish Fry is close by. Barbados is a gem, & Dover Beach adds to its shine"

"Ocean spray apartments are an absolute dream! The staff was wonderful and helpful, and the area around is stunning. The restaurant is currently being built but my husband and I checked out the local markets close by and found lots of food to make ourselves with fresh eggs, fruit and bread. There are tons of bus stops that can take you all over the island if you dont want to rent a car, if you ask the bus drivers they will always either take you to where you need to go, or point you in the best...

"We enjoyed being so close to the beach and to restaurants. Property is well maintained and rooms are clean and well kept. Staff are very polite. We like that the property supplied beach towels as well. We found out from a server at the Tropical Mist that their hotel is "sisters" with Blue Haven and that we could have come over to use the pool etc.... We found that out at the end of our trip and would have been nice to know sooner."
