"It’s nice and quiet out there. Especially at night it’s lovely. I really enjoyed the drive to and from town. The WIFI was out the time we went so just be mindful of losing signal out there. FYI for guest staying in Room #4 in particular, it’s close quarters there. Especially the shower. Other than that staff there was very nice. It has a small town Italian feel to it like your walking the streets of Italy. Other guest there were very pleasant to be around and the whole lay out of the property...

"We had a lovely time at City on The Hill. We were looking for somewhere secluded with a view of nature. Our cabin at did not disappoint. We stayed at Grace and it was perfect for our long weekend needs. We bought groceries with us and were able to cook breakfast and a few meals. We had a hot plate with us but there was also one provided in the cabin. There is an outdoor grill on site for use which we didn't get to use simply due to time constraints. So many other amenities were provided...

"This is the only place we will stay on our return visits to Fredericksburg. It was lovely! The owners, Marsha and Steve were so friendly, very attentive, and always around for whatever we needed. It was within walking distance of shops and restaurants (one block off Main). Rooms were spacious and very very quiet. The property has 8 cottages. "The house was perfect for 2 families. I have never stayed in a self catering house with such a well equipped kitchen - there was nothing we needed that wasn't available to us!
