"The giant bay windows facing out onto the 'prom' and the Irish Sea beyond was stunning. The moon came out for us at one point as well. Exquisite. However, the Hotel's bar and restaurant facilities were closed, which was disappointing. Luckily there were options just down the road at the Glengower. "

"Generally a good experience, but with reservations. A hotel of character, much nicer than bland city tower blocks, but ready for overall refurbishment. Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. "In need of decorating or a spruce up. There was mold on the walls and ceiling. Wouldn't take much to make it a really nice room to stay in."
