"Lovely twin room modern decor and bathroom, looking to re book for next year would recommend."

"I arrived early but was able to access my room straight away. I was initially told that my room still had to be paid for but I had prepaid. This was resolved quickly however. The hotel is conveniently located on a regular bus route and I took the opportunity to visit Blaenau Ffestiniog 20 minutes away. The evening meal was excellent with plenty of choice on the menu. My room was fine and extremely comfortable. Some slight traffic noise as it was at the front of the property."

"We were located in the annex, across the road, with on street parking. 1 flight of stairs to room which was sufficiently sized for an overnight. Tea/coffee and biscuits supplied. Bathroom well stocked, but lots of condensation as there was no window or fan? Builders were working on flat roof right outside the window which was a bit of a shock for both of us! Would recommend this hotel"

"Apart from them not expecting me, they weren't doing breakfast and the telly was broken, I have no complaints. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was just what was hoped for with a comfortable bed and functioning hot shower. A bit pricey for a pub in April."

"I stopped at the Fairbourne on my drive up North. Actually a pretty great stay. My room was huge, recently renovated, big TV and nice bathroom. Very clean place, it was easy to park and the staff were very friendly. I would stay again."

"Generally a good experience, but with reservations. A hotel of character, much nicer than bland city tower blocks, but ready for overall refurbishment. Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. Food excellent quality, well prepared. More choice of breakfast buffet items would be welcome. If you are solo and book in advance for dinner, be aware that you might...

"Great location. Greeted well and shown to the room. Place is relaxing and set in a great spot with loads of places to walk. Village is small but has enough places to eat and drink. Service levels at the hotel were great. "

"Having a specific room requirement the hotel give me options and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. With the Hotel room only refurbished in October 24, they were well finished and furnished. We ate in the restaurant with the menu offering a good variety of food and we we very happy with the quality of the food. Finally a big thank you to Dela who was a supMagerb host. "
