"Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us but there were no issues with noise from the bar below. Limited menu but food was very good. Steaks were lovely. Nice pint too. Great breakfast. "We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Tyn-y-Coed - the location is excellent for walking from the doorstep and the parking is great. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had good storage. The addition of a drying line in the bathroom is a super idea. We loved the styling of decor in reception and the bar/restaurant and enjoyed the Snowdon Lager on draught. We look forward to visiting again. "
