"Both rooms were immaculately clean. The first room had a lovely big bath and the second a spacious shower. Beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect for the town and the seafront. Parking is non existent, pot luck if you can find something outside or a near by street. Didn’t feel a warm welcome from staff like others have felt, breakfast on the second morning was disappointing and staff were not friendly nor attentive. "

"I have stayed at Park Lodge many times over the last 18 months. It is comfortable and clean, the staff are courteous and friendly, and the restaurant serves an excellent breakfast. The hotel also has a carpark, which is a vital facility for Aberystwyth. "

"Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us but there were no issues with noise from the bar below. Limited menu but food was very good. Steaks were lovely. Nice pint too. Great breakfast. "Friendly staff and fantastic communication to ensure we arrived with details of how to check-in etc. We have stayed at this hotel and left ok-good reviews, however, on this occassion we are sad to say we weren't impressed. It's a shame because it's in a perfect location, the building has great character and the staff are very approachable. "The giant bay windows facing out onto the 'prom' and the Irish Sea beyond was stunning. The moon came out for us at one point as well. Exquisite. However, the Hotel's bar and restaurant facilities were closed, which was disappointing. Luckily there were options just down the road at the Glengower. "
