I didn't spend much time actually at the hotel but my room was VERY hot, which made sleep really difficult unfortunately. The window had only very limited opening. But the Rutland was very competitively priced, and it was still the weekend the next day, so not the end of the world"

"Staff were very helpful and room comfortable. For me, the over bath shower was a problem as i had real problems, particularly getting out. More walk-in showers might be a good investment!! Parking on site is extremely limited, which could be a serious drawback. "

"Sadly, the EV chargers didn't work, and every staff member under the age of 25 looked like they really didn't want to be there. It took the shine off our dinner, bearing in mind we are only 27 and 28, and have worked similar jobs ourselves - but it was very noticeable and off-putting. Loved the dog friendliness of the place and how accommodating it was to outdoorsy folk. Will come back for sure. "

"I didn’t realised that immigrants are staying at that hotel. Kids are wondering around at the car park and playing. Security are all round. I didn’t expect security at the hotel. First when we enter bit worried. But later we are fine inside our room."
