"We stayed 2 nights while attending a family wedding. The hotel is old but very clean. It could do with an update in some areas especially the showers in the rooms. That said we had a warm comfortable stay and would stay again. The breakfast was fine could have been hotter but plenty choice. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff were great and attended to any request promptly. Another plus is that there is plenty parking and a lift if you find stairs difficult. "

"As a traditional style, family run hotel you get what you pay for. Positives : great friendly staff team, good breakfast, free parking, clean room, good heating, right by Farnborough airport, excellent value relative to other local options, places to eat in evening within a 2 minute walk. Less good: room was starting to look a bit battered both furniture and walls (and not quite the boutique hotel impression from the room photos), nowhere to plug in mobile near bed, very narrow bathroom, getting...

"Very friendly staff. My room was 2 floors up (28 steps) - not a problem for me, but there was no lift. Great central location, 15 minutes walk from the station, or a 2 stop bus ride. Excellent TV with apps allowing catch up, or watch from start if programme started (nearby chain hotel should take note). Very good breakfast. WiFi a bit flakey at top where I was, but not a real problem (might be if wanting to stream video). Room a bit "tired" but I've seen much worse. I don't think there's private...

"Everything was good in the room except the washing basin in the toilet. It is extremely small size. It is a cloakroom size washing basin. The toilet is big enough to accommodate a full size washing basin."

"First time staying at this hotel since the makeover. The room was spacious, large comfortable bed. Good size bathroom, supplied with complementary shampoo, conditioner etc. large bathroom towels. Tea/coffee making facilities. The only negative thing for me was the pillows, too soft. "
