" Enjoyed our two night stay. Excellent location, not too far from the railway station and close to the lake/promenade There were features of an 'old grandeur', many of which I quite appreciated. "We have stayed at this inn twice and enjoyed it both times. The service was friendly and helpful. They went out of there way to help with any problem. The housekeeping staff did not hurry us. We cannot speak to the restaurant as it was closed for vacations while we were there. The only issue that could have been better was no air conditioning. It would have been appreciated at both stays. "

"Perfect location for visiting Chillon Castle. And the hotel itself is full of history, retaining its bel epoque charm. Loved it! Their special 4 course dinner is completely worth it. One warning though... use the bus or taxi to get there. Otherwise you are hoofing it up a super steep hill to reach the hotel."

"We stayed in the week of the transition, owners taking over the management after a leasing of the property. So, we experienced some of the service issues that one can naturally expect when a new management is arriving. Nevertheless the staff was excellent and predisposed to overcome all those difficulties.
