"Very clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good quality continental breakfast (the same for all days but that really wasn’t a problem). About a three minute walk from the Victoriaplatz tram stop but it’s only a 20 minute walk into the centre of Bern if you’re feeling energetic. Get the tram back though as it’s uphill !! "Hotel Seville was a dream hotel in Edelweiss room with a wooden canopy bed and a million dollar view! The food and service were excellent! Parking was scarce and bringing luggage through the cobblestone streets was difficult for us! We love everything about Gruyeres!"

The only thing is that there are no air conditioners in the rooms so can be uncomfortable at night. If you keep the windows open then the bugs fly in. It would have been good to have screens on the windows. The pillows were not firm and was uncomfortable to sleep. Overall highly recommended! "

"Excellent location, spacious, clean room with a country feel. I loved the all-around heating stove and the beautiful heating stove from 1773 just took us back in time. If I stay in Gruyeres again I would choose this place again, for the above reasons. "
