"The first room we got assigned had no towels, a dirty shower and missed pillow cases. The reception said that housekeeping couldn’t come back to clean and we were assigned another room. It appeared that it was cleaned but the airconditioning wasn’t working in this room. This property is old, not maintained (leaking air conditioning in the hallways) or cleaned (dirty carpets) . Staff didn’t even care when I told them I had a terrible stay upon check out. They just smiled. When paying 300 Euros...

"Generally the hotel was spotless, the staff helpful and friendly and the breakfast excellent. Only 3 downsides. Firstly, the room was very small and the shower room so tiny you could scarcely turn round. Secondly, the hotel is a fair hike from Villers centre. Buses are few and far between and taxis don't exist in Villers and there isn't much around the hotel. Thirdly, the stairs from the underground car park come up outside the hotel. Got soaked. "Lovely room on the 4th floor. Nicely decorated & it made the most of the small space. Only issue was that it involved a few stairs which wouldn't be great if you had a lot of luggage. "What a delightful hotel. The rooms were modern, stylish, clean as a whistle and well equipped. The building is equally stylish and well maintained. We didn't eat in the dining room as it was very busy but crossed the road to a restaurant clearly popular with the locals where I enjoyed the best Cafe Gourmand of my life, for a very reasonable price.
