"Beautiful property! Has be well kept and maintained. We had a nice stay during the offseason. Honestly, I think we were the only couple at the entire resort so it was very quiet. Received assistance booking a wine tour which was super helpful since we don’t speak Spanish. Only complaint is the rooms were cold when we arrived. Took a while for the heater to warm up the room, then the heat turned off in the morning. Otherwise, nice stay! "

"The hotel is at the fishing port where there are numerous excellent fish restaurants albeit in not well-maintained surroundings. Watching the Sealions is a treat and there are many homeless but friendly dogs. The market has many stalls catering to children. "

" I had a very nice stay at the Puerto Mayor. It was a good value for the cost especially since it included breakfast. The hotel personnel were pleasant and the room was quiet. I stayed there before a cruise and the cab ride to the terminal only took a few minutes. That was a real convenience. The hotel was within sight of the ship and no hotel was any nearer. I got to San Antonio by bus from Santiago and the taxi ride from the bus terminal to the hotel only took about 15 minutes."
