"Overall the hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is worthwhile. Proximity to the old quarter is decent, but having a bike definitely helps. Service was slower than it should be - we waited over an hour for a sandwich and salad the first day. On another day our room did not get made up until after 6:00 p.m. and only after I asked at reception. They claimed it was because we had the DND sign on the door, but that was only for 15 minutes to avoid being surprised...

"This charming 3 star hotel was a delight. It is off the beaten track, but for me the charm is in the seclusion and the peaceful surroundings. However, pedestrians are well catered for by buses which are a short walk from the hotel. Utrecht Center and the Railway station can be reached in around 10 to 12 minutes.
