Excellent First Experience with Fletcher Hotels
Very comfortable overnight stay. Lots of facilities and clearly a well-established tradition of pleasing guests. Excellent value. I was impressed enough to ask for a book of the Fletcher Hotels. I hope success will not price this lovely hotel out of reason anytime soon.

Op zich een prima hotel, schoon maar ook wel verouderd. Mijn kamer lag aan de binnentuin wat meer een opslagruimte leek. Personeel was vriendelijk en ik heb er lekker gegeten geslapen.

De accommodatie is -althans voor zover te beoordelen op basis van de kamer- echt wel verouderd en gedateerd. De kamer is ongezellig ingericht, 's avonds niet sfeervol te verlichten (te fel brandende lampen met hard wit licht), dat geldt helemaal voor de badkamer die de sfeer heeft van de operatiekamer van een ziekenhuis (drie hele felle en hard witte lampen), witte kranen uit de jaren 70, een douche met zo'n goedkoop bouwmarkt schuifdeurtje, een toilet met het goedkoopste grijze toiletpapier, de bedden staan min of meer los of glijden uit elkaar. Verder is het hotel een doolhof van gangen die slecht zijn bewegwijzerd. Wel heel mooi zijn de welness en zwembad in de kelder...alleen het zwembad wordt 's middags gebruikt voor zwemles en is dan gesloten voor de hotelgasten...dit staat niet op de website (!) en de sauna's zijn uit en koud...kunnen op verzoek via de receptie aangezet worden..maar voordat die dan warm zijn... wel prima gegeten in de brasserie die een poging doet om gezellig te zijn. Zeker vermeldenswaard: de kamers zijn schoon en het personeel is allervriendelijkst. Het is hier zoals in wel meer Fletscher hotels: Een sfeer van chique maar gedateerd er wordt onvoldoende geïnvesteerd om het echt een vier sterren te doen zijn. Er zijn betere opties in de omgeving.

Basis Hotel voor een overnachting. Alles wat je nodig hebt, maar geen luxe (bijv mini handdoeken) . We kregen ongevraagd en onaangekondigd een kamer voor mindervaliden omdat anderen die niet wilden Dat kan men aan de receptie even vertellen. Werd de volgende avond goedgemaakt omdat een medewerkster ons twee glazen wijn op de kamer bracht toen de bar al dicht was.
