"I loved being right on the beach and having a restaurant on the property. We had a very spacious room, with 2 bathrooms, which was very affordable. The many outdoor environments were wonderful, especially the giant beanbag lounges under palapas on the beach. Snorkel and dive tour company is right next door. Service at the restaurant was extremely slow and inattentive compared to all the other local places where we ate. Luckily the Sea Side Restaurant was next door, and we had wonderful...

"Old fashion hotel. Quite nice. Helpful staff. Breakfast was OK, but not great and overpriced. For good authentic Mexican food better hike a couple blocks to the public market. One has to watch where you put their foot. The sidewalks are in terrible condition. I had a pretty bad fall just several meters away from the hotel because of uneven sidewalk."

But it’s right smack on the beach ( swim in the morning before the wind gets up), and has a super good breakfast at its pleasant outdoor bar. Our only problem was the room was quite cold at night— it’s been an unusually cold season so far, but there isn’t any way to get heat in the rooms."

"Stayed at the Hacienda Bugambilias for 10 days in early December '24 and enjoyed everything about this place! Very authentic, the staff were great and took care of our every need.
