"Enjoyed my 3 night stay at this property. It is clean, convenient, walkable for me but is 20 mins to the golden zone. Depends what you need. But for me I liked that it was close to shopping, staff were friendly and helpful, daily housekeeping service was top notch and the breakfast had lots of options. Loved the espresso in the morning. This is not Canada or the United States. You need to adjust your expectations. Or pay a lot more. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. If something isn’t right, communicate with the staff and they will fix it. Enjoy your stay!"

"Sweet apartment/hotel, ideal for long stays. Fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge and a gas cooktop. Nice pool and a large covered common area when you want to be out of the sun. Out of the hustle and bustle, a short walk to the beach, local restaurants and convenience stores nearby and buses to the Zona Dorada and Centro Histórico. 2nd time we've stayed the Marena, and we'll be back ."
