"I had a great time staying at The Royal Park Kyoto Umekoji! My friend and I stayed for four nights. It is located in a nice quiet area of Kyoto and it is directly across the street from Umekoji station (just one station stop away from Kyoto Station). The cleanliness of the room left a little to be desired. There was still a few pieces of hair on the floor from previous guests, but nothing too abhorrent. "The property is very nice and clean. Location is very convenient to catch the train. Breakfast was great! Love the variety of Japanese dishes. Only complaint is there is no dresser to put our clothes in. "

"Wonderful place to stay! The room is small but just enough. Bathroom is impeccably clean, which is always my first check. Upstairs lounge is so cute and quiet and clean. We loved our stay and will definitely be coming back! "
