"The place is amazing. The only issue is the breakfast and dinner on offer. They never changed. It was the same thing over and over again. This was hard for someone like me who stayed for three days. When requested, they helped me to ask the other hotel if they can receive my luggage ahead of my check in. Their check in/out is also very foreigner friendly. "Have stayed here a couple of times in the past. The hotel is nice, inexpensive, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, it's a good choice for a night's rest. Location is not great. While it's just across the road from Shimonoseki strait coastline, access to the shoreline is very limited by industrial areas. Also very limited dining options, outside the hotel's onsite dining room."

"Generally speaking, this hotel is very aged. For example, my Japanese toilet did not work. It flushed, but did not wash. The carpets are very worn, and entry is on the second floor, by stairs so carrying luggage is a chore. I did not have breakfast so no comment. Usual material supplied in the room was not (tooth brush, tooth paste, tea, etc.). Not recommended for seniors with mobility issues."
