"Beautiful property that has a private, lush vibe. Our host, Shannon, was very helpful and friendly, without being intrusive. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite (room #6). It was spacious and beautiful! The room has a comfortable, charming canopy bed. There is a large garden atrium in the room which contains a pond, fish, and lush tropical plants.Room has a small fridge. Great value for the price. "Outstanding location near Volcano national park with friendly and helpful staff. All of the details were thought of from breakfast to shoe cleaning kit and bathrobes. A book with all of the information you’d need about the property, about the National Park, and about the area was provided. We highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. Perfect place to stay right outside of Volcano National park. "

"This was booked last minute due to a last minute cancellation for another property. Beautiful property especially for the earthy type of individual. It was perfect for my needs however I don’t see people staying here that require more of an upscale type of setting. Leaving the room to use the community restroom is probably the only thing that was not too thrilling. All in all it fulfilled my expectations."

"They have roaches. I don't recommend staying there. I stayed for one night there the roaches crawling on me. Canceled the the rest of the stay and they refuse to refund my money. And not to metion there is mold in the tub and cobb webs behind the bed. Don't waste your time and money."

"What a beautiful slice of paradise—a little sweet cottage with everything we needed —off the grid (but still close enough to groceries and great restaurants) with excellent hikes and beaches nearby. Eric and Susie were excellent hosts with delicious breakfasts featuring local fruits and visits from their friendly cat, Slash. We left happy and relaxed. "
