Room was modern, very clean, spacious, and with its own private garden area. Location is superb, only a few minutes walk to the lake. Staff were friendly, super helpful and welcoming at all times. Great family venue. We will be back!"

"We stayed at Lake Taupo Motor inn for 2 nights as a family of 4. We got lucky with the end room which had big windows and a nice view. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms nice and dark with curtains drawn. It was a nice quiet location although still super close and handy to shops, cafes and restaurants. The pool was too cold for my 4 year old however there was also a spa to warm up in. Great stay"

"A clean and comfortable unit located in a nice avenue close to the Turangi centre. The only problem was despite free wifi being connected it was next to impossible to get any streamed apps or even free to view channels and the internet in general. Have encountered this at other motels in the district so it's probably a regional issue but sure;y hosts can find a solution?"

"We stayed in a cabin this time and had to use shared kitchen and bathrooms. The campground was very full, and I think they could have more toilets/ showers and a bigger kitchen. "
