"Had yet another lovely stay. We have stayed here quite a few times now and we are never disappointed. Staff were lovely, friendly and extremely accommodating. Bed was really comfortable so had a great nights sleep. Rooms were warm and cozy too. Breakfast was ok but I feel it is very limited as I would have preferred maybe that other options to pick from were able that’s my only issue. "I had booked this as a surprise for my husband. We arrived early so room was not ready. Checked in and was a bit disappointed as room was facing the car park. I had contacted the hotel prior to arrival as it was a surprise birthday pressie. However asked if there was any rooms with a view of the loch. There was a surcharge of £40 or £60 which was a little disappointing and an unplanned spend. However we upgraded as it was a special occasion to a suite which had beautiful views of the...

I was treated to a local Scottish folk song jam session in the bar since I landed there on their regular meeting night. Very welcoming crowd. Great fun! It’s a country inn, not a hotel, but it’s perfect accommodations if you’re traveling by car. Close to Stirling Castle, Wallace monument and other sites of interest. "
