"Only stayed one night to visit family found by mistake but pleasantly surprised "

"Excellent location, great staff and warm & friendly hotel."

"Second or third stay at the Keep, previously in the tower suite, now a flying stop so a "basic" downstairs room. Despite being street facing at ground level it's absolutely quiet. I live on a busy main road & this room was so much quieter than home. Palatial room with perfectly comfortable bed, large shower, microwave, fridge, etc. No staff on site most of the time which always makes me a little nervous, but I've never needed them, & the price reflects it. If I want 24hr staffing I'm welcome...

"Stayed for a couple of nights here when visiting family. Comfortable rooms and all very clean. Lots of great places nearby for breakfast (nothing at the hotel but they do have complimentary hot drinks available). Friendly staff and easy check in and check out. Dodnt use the hotel parking but usedparking the pay and display just a couple of minutes walk away."

"A grade11 listed building with acres of old quirky charm. Staff were all very friendly and helpful at this very busy time of year (Christmas lunches and dinners) Many customers supported this inn which included a great local clientele. Log burners in bar area kept the place warm. Furnishings were all old and part of its charm is that nothing matches ! Dogs were welcome in the bar area and there is a friendly adopted cat !
