"We booked in to stay while attending an event nearby, and the location was perfect to get to and from it easily. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally attentive and good-humoured, which made us feel really welcomed. It was an easy check-in, helped by the fact that you can do some of it online. The place was a bit of a maze of corridors when you went up to find your room, which took a bit of getting used to when it came to navigating. One area had a rather musty smell in the corridor, but...

"The accommodation was immaculate. The room was warm and inviting. The breakfast was excellent. Eggs benedict cooked to perfection was a dish I always wanted to try. It was beautiful, with two runny yolks. This place is a little gem in Bury St Edmunds 5 minute walk to the town center I cannot recommend it enough 5 stars. "

"Such a beautiful place to stay especially during the Christmas period, the room we had was stunning, very cozy and the bed was comfortable. There was a good selection of teas and coffee. Pub/restaurant was really lovely the meal we had was delicious. Bury St Edmonds was only 20 minutes away, definitely a lovely place to visit."
