My one complaint would be the air conditioning, the rooms were very stuffy and hot and the air conditioning did not appear to be blowing out cool air. "The pictures that are used for single rooms at Emerald House don't do them justice. The room I had contained a mini-fridge, kettle, hairdryer, sink and enough encroutements for both cleaning and drinking and a small TV on an extendable arm, allowing for some background noise whilst chilling. Location wise I needed something close to both the city centre and also the university and this met both needs. There are bus stops on either side of the road quite nearby and these are great to get...

"My husband and I used the hotel as a base to explore the area. It was perfect. The building is immaculate. The welcome at reception was warm and very helpful.
