"If not for the excellent location (walking distance to Kailua town, and the sunset views are spectacular), I would seriously consider staying somewhere else on my next trip (approx. every 3-5 years). The exorbitant resort fee is a ripoff, and to charge for self-parking ABOVE AND BEYOND the fee is almost criminal. What do you get for this fee? 2 bottles of water — for the stay, not each day! — doesn’t come close to justifying the fee. I was given a coupon for 2 Mai Tais; when I explained that...
