Clean & tidy. 2 bedroom and 2.5 bath. 1 bedroom downstairs with 3/4 bath ensuite. 1 bedroom upstairs with 1/2 bath ensuite 1: 3/4 bath with washer/ dryer. Beautiful ocean view from living room lanai. Mountain view from upstairs lanai. Have a fun relaxing time.

We really enjoyed this property--especially having not one but two different decks to lounge around on. Every morning we would have our breakfast on the lower-level deck and gaze out at the goings-on in the bay--kayakers, competitive swimmers, tour boats. We would definitely stay here again.

Kona Retreat

We had a great time staying at this lovely property. It is nicely decorated, has a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of beach towels and a boogie board that we made use of. We especially liked having the upstairs suite and a laundry and having breakfast on the balcony with the lovely ocean view.

Great Location

Ideal place to stay to explore downtown Kona. Close to all amenities which was perfect for lounging around Kona. The ocean view was good from the lower balcony whilst the upper one was quite hot since being a penthouse unit. Overall enjoyed the stay and would stay there again if visiting the area. Felt safe walking anywhere around the area.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay Kona Alii. This condo has everything you could want and need. Location of the facility is right on the Main Street, but this condo is set back enough and on the 7th floor so you don’t hear any noise. The lanai had a great view of the ocean where we would sit out every morning and enjoy our coffee.

Few notes

I let the property manager know some of these things but feel they are worth mentioning: pillows old and musty and mushy, sliding doors do not lock, left side levlour windows in main suite do not close and a couple are actually ready to fall out. Noise from music/bands at nearby restaurants went on until 2 am. We did appreciate the well stocked home with spices and coffee makers and extra bedding and towels.

We have been visiting Kona for 48 years, much has changed but for us the special Kona stuff remains unchanged! This unit was clearly very well cared for and big enough to provided a little space for 3 people. The views of the ocean and mountains were exceptional. Very quiet day and night! A 5 minute walk to the north or south brought us to our favorite waterholes and eateries. The trolley gave us access to several food markets and shops of all types. We will most definitely stay at Penthouse across from the Ocean again!

Super location in downtown Kona

Absolutely great location, we have stayed in this building before and it's walking distance to everything. Unit is very well appointed, well laid out. Unit and location is 5-star. Only drawback, the upstairs bed is very uncomfortable, so hoping it gets changed out as we are renting this unit again this year.

We had a wonderful time at this property. So well equipped, nice decor and good views. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Pool area is very nice and has a grill. We have stayed at Kona Alii quite a lot. This is the first time staying in this unit. Was a great spacious unit. The only thing I didn’t like was the upstairs had toilet but had to shower downstairs. Other than that was an awesome place to stay with friends. Had everything you needed in kitchen. And great having laundry and dryer.

Fabulous place to stay!

A delightful condo that is spacious and beautifully decorated. It has everything that you could possibly need. The deck and balcony were fabulous - easy to watch the ocean or stargaze at night. It is steps from shopping, restaurants ( Fosters was our favorite) and the ocean. The welcome basket was such a nice touch and immediately got us into the Aloha spirit. We look forward to returning in the future and will definitely plan to stay here again. Thank you Randy and Gretchen!
