"Very conveniently located. Ample parking. Reception staff extremely helpful. One negative point. The shower cubical is slippery and unsafe. Shower controls are not user friendly. Much Water spills to the outside the tray wetting the floor heavily. A simple solution would be to fit a sliding curtain to contain the water spill. "

"We have stayed here a few times over the last 4-5 years. Staff are very friendly and there is a vibrant atmosphere in the public areas. Room was clean and quiet with all the facilities we needed and the breakfast provided was varied and a big bonus. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that the double bed was quite uncomfortable due to a dip in the mattress. This was a shame as even budget hotels now offer king sized mattresses and bedrooms are refurbished regularly. I wonder whether the...

"There is no sockets for chargers next to the bed, and the only usb slot is broken. Shower water pressure not the best. Breakfast very basic. No mushrooms."

"I love this place! I came back here after having an amazing stay over Christmas. The staff are lovely and the rooms are cozy. The village is beautiful, quiet, and very serene. The canal is nearby and is a lovely walk. The view from my room overlooked the village, valley, and Avon River. With the frost on the ground, it turned magical! "

"I was very pleased with the roomI had booked. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. A tiny drawback was limited hot water from the wash basin. However the building is an old one and there was a notice advising if the hotel was busy I may have to wait a short time for hot water so I did not mind this. A shower next morning was great. Breakfast was good too. The gentleman on Reception was excellent, informative and extremely hee Royal when I return to Bath in the future. Thank you."

"Friendly welcome. Room was typical chain hotel style, but comfortable. Could have been cleaner (cobwebs in corners, dusty surfaces). Food was OK, service was attentive and friendly. Would stay here again, and maybe take advantage of the leisure facilities."
