"The hotel is currently under renovations but still in good shape. My room on the second floor had a lovely view of the little lake. Thumbs down for weird dried white stuff on the couch so I didn't sit on it, but ended up wiping it off work a wet towel. Likely who ever stayed in the room before me had a toddler and it was food stuff. The toilet also ran so had to shake the handle. Forgot to report that to the front desk. The hotel is obviously older but they're updating it as they can. Easy...

"This is a very nice and safe hotel, with amazing staff. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast offered was convenient and delicious. The area around was a bit dirty, and a little difficult to get around in a vehicle, but that is no fault of the hotel, of course. There are many restaurants and things to do within walking distance. Our concert venue was just a few blocks away. Thank you for a great place to stay for our first time in Portland!"

"We like this hotel overall. But when they sell their parking for events & there is no on site parking for guests it's enough to make us look for another hotel."
