"I had a 2 night stay with a friend whilst attending a funeral locally. The room was clean and tidy and good sized. we had a meal in the restaurant with other fiends (8of us). Most of us had a good experience. But 3 had an issue with the steaks ordered. They found them to be a little tough to eat. The others all enjoyed what they had ordered. The stay was comfortable and the breakfast buffet had a good selection. There was ample parking,"

"Very short walk from the station. Breakfast was good (could have more variety of fruit/youghurt - but still good. Love the hot chocolate!). Room is comfortable. Friendly staff. All in all, it was good and we will be coming again in the future. "

"We have stayed here a few times now. The redecorated rooms are absolutely lovely. The staff, so polite. The spa, perfect for some down time. Highly recommended. The only thing I would change, is the menu. It would be nice to see more fine dining menu, rather than a typical pub meal. Although, the food was very nice. A perfect cooked steak.
