"A great value hotel. Great location just off the A1 aprox 4 miles into Durham. Excellent rooms decorated beautifully, spotlessly clean. Great to have air con & a plug socket either side of the bed. Staff friendly and helpful "

"Looked after extremely well. Not certain about the lack of amenities in the double room for disabled people. Nowhere to hang bathroom robes or wash bags and for a non-disabled person the wash basin was extremely low, small and difficult as an older person to use. "

"An out of town hotel, part of the Greene King pub chain. Room was clean and comfy apart from the radiators which were tempremental/not working (meaning the room was a little cold. Bathroom was a bit dated but not a show stopper."
