It is a quiet area that provided a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Central station is less than a 10 minute ride from Amstel Station, which is right next to the hotel. "Hampton inn was great ! Love the ambience! Love the breakfast and the options they give ! Gym is sufficient in size ! Rooms are well kept and the beds sleep great ! Rooms are soundproof! Hotel not far away from airport ! Amsterdam is like 30 mins away ! Staff members are friendly and always willing to help ! I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back again ! "

"Great sized standard double room, with an en-suite and room cleaning every day. Bus and tram stops less than 5 mins away. Brunch cafe right across the street and more in less than 5 mins walk. The museums square is only 15 min walk away (where Van Gogh museum is). Nice view out of the window, warm in January, clean sheets. The walls a bit dirty, but that’s typical with wallpaper. Easy check in and check out. Great price, cheaper than hostels in the city centre (and this is much quieter area)!"
