"Love this guest house, it has lots of character and original features from its previous farming days. The hosts are absolutely lovely, so welcoming and friendly and cannot do enough for you. "We booked this pub/hotel for a two night stay due to going to a wedding at Hallington Mill a venue approximately 15mins drive away. Arriving on a Friday afternoon we received a lovely friendly welcome and had a evening meal on our first night. We stayed in room 7 a fantastic large bathroom which look brand new. Every member of staff we had dealings with very friendly and helpful. "

"It was a pleasant stay after visiting Alnwick Gardens. The room was about average size but walk up on third floor. The room was clean and as usual air conditioning was provided by opening the window. Parking is available but not for the faint of heart if you are not used to driving in the UK. Would consider staying there again if we are ever in the area."
