"Review of Villa White Queen Hotel The service at Villa White Queen Hotel was absolutely fantastic, without a doubt among the best I have ever experienced. The receptionist showed incredible care for the guests and ensured that our stay was as smooth and comfortable as possible. Despite arriving very early, at 9:30 in the morning, they prepared our room while we had breakfast so we could check in right away, get a few hours of sleep, and then enjoy the rest of the day exploring Galle. "Large rooms with comfortable bed right on the beach. Easy walking to many tourist shops and many restaurants. Lots of fresh seafood available from these restaurants. Staff was very friendly and eager to help with a smile. The restaurant prepared a seafood grill each night and set tables with candies at the edge of the surf. Breakfast was very good with lots of fruit and an omelette station as well as curry. Can’t go wrong staying here. "

"This property was wonderful so why only 4 stars? Although I think it should be 5 stars, one consistent item knocked it down a notch. For this calibre of hotel, daily room make up service is a must. The fact that I was asked each day if I wanted this, to which my response was yes, and then to return to the untouched room at the end of the afternoon isn’t 5 star service. "We were really looking forward to staying at Green Villa but upon arrival they said there was a problem with the room and they were completely booked so had to book us in a hotel next door. The place next door was dirty and only half as nice. I went back when I saw they had availability the next 3 nights and they were able to put us in a ground floor room (I paid for a balcony) but it was still nice. "Very nice guest house (b&b) about 25 mins walk or 5 mins by tuk tuk from centre of Galle. The hosts couldn’t be nicer or more helpful and even offered us lifts to town. Sri Lankan or English breakfasts were great. Very clean house with delightful garden in a real Sri Lankan setting. Be aware though, no hot water for showers. Overall terrific value for money."

"We enjoyed staying two nights at Sun N Sea in early April. We enjoyed both the view of the beach/ ocean as well as the food. We were able to walk along the beach and into town easily. The manger helped us find a store which sells a computer charger. We had accidentally left ours at home. The beds were very comfortable and we all enjoyed surfing lessons."
